From Planning to Investment: Pacific 1.5 Pathways

Monday 5 October 2026 3:15 PM – 4:00 PM Convention 3

About this session

Pacific energy ministers say the region has its strategy; what it needs now is delivery. This event shows how credible data and transparent modelling turn ambition into investment. Senior officials from the Australia–Pacific Partnership for Energy Transition will present national masterplans and costed pipelines: real projects and numbers ready for funders. Tuvalu and Tonga will demonstrate open-source tools hosted on government systems and operated by national staff, keeping capability for the Framework for Energy Security in the Pacific 2.0 (FESRIP 2.0) in-country. Attendees will leave knowing Pacific countries’ COP31 priorities, costs, and required legal and regulatory changes for successful delivery.
