Grassroots Recyclers’ Journey: Peaks and Valleys

Behind every bale is a journey, and behind that journey are people whose work often goes unseen. This interactive showcase by WRFL and PRF traces Fiji’s recyclables from grassroots collection through sorting, processing and baling to end markets. Through recyclable-material displays, operational data, photographs and first-person stories, attendees will experience the peaks, valleys and resilience of Fiji’s recycling movement—and discover why lasting climate action must value both recovered materials and the people who make recovery possible.
