About this session
What becomes possible when climate, health and other sectors work together? Join Sir Collin Tukuitonga, Apolosi Waqalevu of Cure Kids Fiji, Hon. Kate Thwaites MP, Australia’s Special Envoy for Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience, Dr Christina Newport from the Cook Islands, and WHO Regional Director Dr Saia Ma’u Piukala for a breakfast Pacific Talanoa on the health co-benefits of climate action. Through lived experience and practical examples, the dialogue will explore how action on energy, food, transport and resilience can advance climate goals while improving health. Designed for connection as much as conversation, it will build shared understanding, relationships and opportunities for collaboration towards COP31.
