Breaking barriers to finance youth-led innovation

Around the world, young people are adapting and innovating in response to climate change. But youth and community-led initiatives are often unable to access climate finance, preventing them from making the most impact at grassroots-level. This interactive session invites participants to work through real life examples of youth and community-led climate solutions in their own communities, identify the barriers preventing them from accessing finance, and develop practical ideas for how COP31 could help address these barriers. The session will conclude by identifying a small number of practical priorities to carry from Pre-COP into COP31.
