Financing Climate Action for the Ocean: SIDS-led Pathways to Scale Investment and Resilience

Thought leaders from across the Pacific, governments, development banks, climate funds and the private sector will be invited to explore how blue finance can deliver a resilient ocean and thriving coastal communities. Through an interactive discussion featuring real-world examples and emerging lessons from SIDS, attendees will gain insights into innovative financing approaches, regional coordination mechanisms and the role of blue finance roadmaps for translating ambition into implementation. The session will strengthen partnerships, foster new collaborations, highlight Pacific priorities and drawing on the outcomes of the Standing Committee on Finance Forum 2026, identify actions to bring to COP31 to strengthen ocean-climate integration.
