Launch of the Fiji Carbon Market Plan 2026–2030

The event will formally launch Fiji’s Five-Year Costed Carbon Market Plan 2026–2030, alongside a Part 10 Climate Change Act FAQ and community awareness video. It will present Fiji’s roadmap for a transparent, equitable and high-integrity carbon market, signalling readiness to operationalise the Climate Change Act 2021, mobilise climate finance and prepare for Article 6 engagement. Structured around five pillars, the Plan strengthens market readiness, institutions, community safeguards, investment, and monitoring, while advancing Fiji’s NDCs and ensuring Indigenous Peoples, local communities, resource owners and partners understand and benefit from implementation effectively.
