About this session
Climate change is reshaping the risk of malaria, dengue, and other vector-borne diseases across the Pacific. This session will bring together Pacific voices to share how countries are responding, from climate-informed surveillance and preparedness to community-led approaches that mitigate the effects of extreme weather and broader climatic shifts. Attendees will hear practical examples of adaptation in action, with particular attention to pregnant women and children, and explore how stronger health systems and targeted investment can protect communities as disease risks evolve.
